Affordable Home Improvements was founded on the premise that everyday working singles and families deserve and can receive quality remodeling service at an affordable price. We cater to folks just like you; who want great service without any major hassle from an experienced, licensed professional contractor.

Our president is a District of Columbia resident. Like most residents, he was tired of driving to the suburbs to see fixtures, tile, flooring, or just to find someone local to discuss design options before buying. Affordable Home Improvements, (AFI) is local, accessible and easy to find.

About our Staff:

Senior Design and Operation Manager, Sydney has over 20 years experience in the remodeling, HVAC and Plumbing industry. He is a former employee of Washington Gas Company, Washington Energy Systems and A-One Air, Inc. Rodney Lough our Master Mechanical, Plumber and Heating and Air expert has more years of experience than you’ll ever need. He can solve any problems you may be experiencing or better yet, he can design a new system for your addition, rec room, basement, or existing residence.

Rodney McCoy, (yes we like Rodney's) is our service plumbing fixture guru. There isn’t a leak, clogged drain, or nagging drip, drip, drip that he can’t fix. Setting faucets or toilets with a bag full of weird parts gets him real excited. It gets even better, If you need to replace or expand your heating or air conditioning system. You need Mr. Leerie Simpson or Alonzo Holmes. Their combined experience well tells their age, so we won’t got there. Anyway, they crave challenges. If your existing HVAC (Heating , Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Cooling) systems needs tweaking, replacement, or expansion, These are your guys.
